New CB306 Single-Sided Core Builder to be introduced
at IWF2000 in Atlanta

BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA, August 1, 2000 - Edgetech, Inc.
is proud to introduce the CB306 Single-Sided Core Builder –
a new machine for producing wood cores for a variety of
products. The CB306 is an automated single-sided machine
that utilizes a hot melt adhesive system to bond a
builddown stick to one edge of the core and shape the
edge to the desired profile. If a builddown stick is
required on both edges, the core is returned to the
infeed table to have the second edge processed. The
machine can be quickly changed to accommodate a
different builddown stick width.  

“The CB306 is a cost effective alternative to double-sided
core builders for small to medium sized production
requirements,” said Earl Weller, president of Edgetech.

Options include a second shaper and stations for other
requirements such as a dado for cove relief and a slot
for “no-drip” T-mold.
