New CTR960 Countertop Router to be introduced at IWF98
in Atlanta

BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA, August, 1998 - Edgetech is proud
to introduce the CTR960 Countertop Router – a new machine
for cutting openings in countertops for sinks and range
tops. This Countertop Router has a unique Adjustable Stop
System that eliminates the need for templates when cutting
rectangular openings. Savings are achieved since templates
don’t need to be made, replaced or fastened to the top
before routing. “The CTR960 can increase productivity,
eliminate the need for making and storing of many of your
templates and reduce operator fatigue,” stated Earl Weller,
president of Edgetech.

Pneumatic holddown arms hold the top securely in place
while routing. The router motor is mounted on a v-rail
guide system and is pneumatically raised and lowered,
making the machine easier to operate and safer than with
a hand held router operation. The CTR960 also has a guide
bushing which allows the use of templates for oval and
irregular shapes.

Optional templates can be used with the CTR960 to produce:
  • Coped sidesplash blocks to match any typical kitchen or vanity countertop profile
  • Laminate endcaps for capping exposed ends of countertops
