CB320/321 Core Builder Edgetech’s CB320/321 Core Builders are designed to produce consistent straight cores with built up edges. The sticks for the built up edges and scribe are cut from the infeed panel, then guided and bonded in place with a hot melt system prior to being shaped in one continuous flow-through process. This eliminates costs related to a separate cutting process and the need to inventory builddown and scribe sticks. With the selection of the proper shaper unit, double no-drip profiles and bartops can be produced in a single flow-through process. An optional touch screen panel allows the selection of the required cutter stations for each profile and the quick changeover time allows the core builder to be in-line with the countertop production line, eliminating the need to run and inventory cores prior to a production run.
